Why don't I get notifications on my mobile phone?

If you use nooa on your mobile phone and you do not see new activities, neither as a push notification nor as a red "badge", proceed as follows:

  1. Check your mobile phone settings to allow (push) notifications and "badges".
    1. For Android, do the following:
      1. Under "Settings" -> "Apps & Notifications" -> "Notifications" -> activate all notifications for "nooa"
      2. Under "Settings" -> "Apps & Notifications" -> "Notifications" -> show "Badge"
    2. For iPhone:
      1. Under "Settings" -> "nooa" -> "Notifications" -> activate all i.e. "Allow Notifications", tick "Notifications", and activate "Sounds" and "Badges". Also set "Show previews" to "Always (default)" and automatic message grouping.
  2. Check that the mobile phone has enough battery or is not in battery-saving mode - notifications are often switched off in this state!
  3. If notifications are still not showing, it often helps to uninstall the nooa app and then reinstall it
